Both Hospitaller Brother Knights and Brother Sergeants are covered in the sets and when used allow you to make a dramatic looking force with the red robed knights supported by their black garbed Sergeants.

28mm World War One Vignette from Battle Flag

Here at Battle Flag we are extremely pleased to be able to announce the first release in our own range of exclusive 28mm miniatures for the miniature figure collector and gamer.

    Sculpted by the talented Mark Fuller this Great War anniversary vignette represents a courageous, but forlorn, charge of WWI British soldiers into No Man’s Land under heavy fire.

The three officers and private are captured as they exit their trench for the last time. The model is made up of no less than 16 pieces and consists of a large highly detailed resin section of no-man’s land, four 28mm miniatures (Two Captains, 1 Lieutenant and one Private) a section of barbed wire all expertly cast in quality Britannia Metal by our friends at Curtey’s Miniatures plus a 3 part laser cut MDF display base.

 The Lads at Curteys and ourselves will be donating a minimum of £1.00 to the Charity, Soldiers of the Streets, for every set sold.

Soldiers of the Streets is a hands on charitable organization that actively seeks out ex-soldiers who are living rough and/or suffering from PTSD and gives them the physical and psychological support they need to enable them to find shelter and reintegrate into everyday society. Fireforge Templar Knights Waterslide Decals and New Flag Set

 

The latest all brand new sheet of true waterslide transfers and new flag and pennant plate from Battle Flag are for the superb new Templar Knights boxed set from Fireforge.

With over 99 individual waterslide decals on the transfer sheet there are more than enough to complete a full box of the Fireforge Templar Knights. As with all Battle Flags waterslide transfers they are true waterslide, tough and flexible and dry to approximately a paint layer thick. Even over the most basic of paint jobs these will allow you to produce a superb looking unit of Fireforge Templar Knights.
 

We designed the transfers to allow you to paint the visually striking black and white barding as well as the simpler all white. You can see from the image of the finished standard bearer just how effective the black and white barding is.
 
The new flag plate, released to coincide with the Templar transfers, contains the Templar standard and 9 lance pennants. Battle Flag Old West Model Buildings on Display at World Wargames

Great Escape Games had their all new "Dead Man’s Hand" gaming board on display at the recent 2012 World Wargames at Castle Donington in Derby.

Built on a Texas Hold ’Em table the terrain featured no less than nine of Battle Flags 28mm Old West wargame buildings and models; the Bordello, Undertakers, Sheriff’s, Attorney’s, Gunsmith’s, Bank, General Store, Saloon and Gallows.

The models featured bespoke decals and transfers, including a special "Dead Man’s Hand" Saloon decal which will be available to order by the end of this week.

We were extremely pleased to have provided the finished model buildings for Great Escape’s exciting new Wild West demo table of their all new game "Dead Man’s Hand."
 

The table and model buildings will be demoing at all major UK wargame shows and conventions over the coming year.

28mm Wild West Model Gallows. Hang'Em High!

You can now hang ‘em high in Trinity and Blackwater Gulch in fact in any 28/30mm Old West Frontier game.

 

Battle Flag’s easy to assemble laser cut precision kit gives the modeller and gamer a very realistic set of gallows for their Wild West games. Based on photographs of actual gallows of the Frontier period the model is perfectly sized for 28mm Heroic scale and 30mm wargame miniatures; making it ideal for Blackwater Gulch and Malifaux style games.

The easy to assemble Gallows kit from Battle Flag stands an impressive 105mm high. Based on a set of photographs of an actual gallows of the period it has all the details of the real thing; a traditional stair of 13 steps leads up to the fully engraved platform with its railings, crossbeam, trapdoor and lever. The platform has been designed to accommodate miniatures mounted on bases of up to 30mm. The scaffolding to the drop at the front of the model has been left without crossbeam supports; as a hanging was a popular day out and the authorities didn’t want the public’s viewing pleasure obstructed in any way. Gallows were constructed to ensure maximum spectacle.

Another feature of Battle Flag’s model gallows which is worthy of note is that, through careful design, our gallows are assembled with hidden construction joints. This gives a superbly realistic look to the finished model.

Battle Flags of the Texas War of Independence.

The latest release of 28mm and 25mm wargame and model flags from Battle Flag sees the flags of the volunteers of the Texas War of Independence. Covering the main period of the war 1835-1836 as well as James Long’s earlier expeditions in 1821 the plates include the flags carried at the main battles of the Texas Revolution and of course that flown at the Alamo.

Battle Flag’s flags of the Texan War of Independence have been properly researched. The Latin stanzas are correct and I have avoided fictitious flags like the supposed flag of Lorenzo de Zavala.

The Blue Flag with the Lone Star with the name of Texas surrounding it, accredited as the de Zavala flag, was in fact first published in a book entitled "The Romantic Flags of Texas" by Mamie Wynne Cox in 1931. Cox conveniently ignored the journal entries that discuss the addition of a rainbow and stars to de Zavala's unknown design.

This post must start with a huge thank you to Jonathan M. for recommending Battle Flag to GJM to create a range of flags to compliment GJM’s superb new Gringo 40s miniatures.

Having just got of the telephone with Ged at GJM, I am pleased to announce that a new range of Mexican American War flags from Battle Flag will be released in 40mm to compliment GJM,s excellent  new range of 40mm Mex-Am War miniatures.  

Battle Flag will support the range with a full range of beautiful Regimental and National Colours for the U.S. and Mexican forces.

The first release will cover the U.S Regular Infantry and Volunteer Regiments with the Mexican forces to follow shortly.

Using the same superlative artwork Battle Flag have also released the range in both 15mm & 28mm (The Battle Flag range are also now the official range of Mexican-American flags for First Corps excellent range of 28mm wargame figures).
