New 28mm Wild West Wargame Building for Blackwater Gulch. La Maison Rouge Bordello

The all new Frontier Period Bordello from Battle Flag is ready. La Maison Rouge is based on the Columbus Hotel from the Wadsworth Ghost Town in Nevada the model displays our most elaborate period “Gingerbread” detailing to date.

The model features 30mm deep, boardwalks, verandah and balcony making it perfect for Blackwater Gulch and Mailfaux miniatures. As with all our model wargame buildings it features a removable roof as well as a removable upper floor.

The model of La Maison Rouge is the second largest model in Battle Flags range of Wild West models, standing 185mm high, 170mm wide and 170mm deep and at just 45.00 makes it an excellent value centre piece for any Old West game.

New Blackwater Gulch Old West Game Buildings from Battle Flag

We are extremely pleased to be able to announce that the Battle Flag range of Old West buildings are now the official models for Gangfight Game Studio’s Blackwater Gulch game.

Tim from Gangfight Game Studio will be demoing the game at Gen Con in Indianapolis and will have the Undertaker Sheriff’s office, and the all new Blackwater Palace on display.

The Blackwater palace features an all new removable flat roof and signage. Designed to be a centerpiece model for Blackwater Gulch the Palace includes: a removable roof and upper floor, the boardwalk, verandah and fire escape landing are designed to take 30mm bases comfortably ensuring that every part of the Palace can be exploited in the game.

Conquest Games Norman Knight Shield Transfers by Battle Flag

New 28mm Wargame Polish Winged Hussar Pennants and Flags

What with all the transfers, Wild West buildings and laser cut gaming accessories of late it has been some time since I designed some new flags. While researching what would I should do for the next set, and having developed a new Damask Silk Effect for First Corps new Condottiere range of miniatures, I saw the all new 28mm Polish Winged Hussars from Warlord Games.

Polish Winged Hussars being my all time personal favourite troop type and the superb job that Wojtek has done on the miniatures I thought it a good excuse,  as I intend to add more than a few Polish Winged Hussar Regiments to my collection, to increase the number of sets of Polish flags and Hussar pennants, that I created just over a year ago, for a special request from the boys at the WAB forum.

I decided to release the flags and pennants on two different weights of archival paper; our standard heavier paper for the flags and the lighter paper for the pennants. This allows the gamer to get even greater movement into the Hussar pennants. The flags and pennants all look stunning in the Damask Silk effect and are extremely evocative of the period. Now to get hold of some of those fine looking Warlord Winged Hussars.
